Nightmares, flashbacks, depression, anxiety — many people struggle with these and other symptoms every day. If you’ve experienced traumatic events through assault, service to your country or other life experiences and are now dealing with post-traumatic stress (PTS), depression, transition issues, a drug or alcohol addiction, or other mental health issues, don’t go it alone. Turn to people who know what you’re going through, and more importantly, how to help you overcome it.
Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health’s S.T.A.R. (Stress, Trauma, Addiction, Recovery) program is the only one of its kind in the middle Georgia area. Determined to provide the best care to those suffering from the symptoms of trauma, Coliseum has created a program that allows qualified patients to reside on their own dedicated unit. Our average length of stay varies by patients’ individual needs, and we are proud to offer around-the-clock contact with appropriate primary care providers or military staff to aid in a seamless transition back to a productive life. Our ten-bed unit provides 24-hour care and treatment for patients with trauma related mental health challenges, including those with co-occurring addictions.
