Clinical research trials

Clinical trials are research studies designed to evaluate new cancer treatment options, including new drugs, surgical approaches, radiation therapies and combinations of these treatments. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) oversees these clinical trials to make sure that federal regulations governing research are being followed. Many clinical trials are available to you through the medical oncologists who practice at Coliseum Cancer Institute.
