People suffering from clinical depression experience a sad or depressed mood, or an inability to feel pleasure for at least a two-week period and may also have feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness, or hopelessness.

As we've seen with Robin Williams, the mood disorder can affect anyone, no matter how wealthy, successful or happy they may seem.

“That's the thing with clinical depression is you never really know what's going on inside a person at any given time so what we see on the outside may not necessarily reflect what they're going through emotionally and mentally.” -Don Tillman, Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health.
