The Coliseum Health System family mourns the death of Dr. Todd Lang. In his short period with us, it was apparent that he had great vision and passion to support the medical staff and organization. He was a devoted husband and father who lived life to its fullest. Our physicians, clinicians, and hospital staff grieve the loss of one of our leaders and our thoughts and prayers remain with his family as they deal with this tragedy.
Before arriving at Coliseum Health System, Dr. Lang spent his clinical career as an emergency physician. He served as Medical Director of Emergency Services at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN and led the Baptist Memorial Healthcare System Sepsis Improvement effort. He served as Medical Director for the Rural Healthcare Quality Network and Medical & Trauma Director at Lourdes Hospital in Pasco, WA.
Dr. Lang completed his undergraduate studies at Linfield College in McMinnville, OR, and medical school at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He completed family medicine residency at Altoona Hospital in Altoona, PA. In 2012, Dr. Lang earned a Physician Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Dr. Lang is survived by his wife and their three children.
