Macon, GA Depression and anxiety are common conditions that affect many people in middle Georgia. To help spread awareness and education, Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health will offer a free seminar, “Anxiety and Depression: Warning Signs and Treatment,” on Wednesday, January 22. The seminar will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at Coliseum Medical Centers in Building C, Suite 120.
The seminar will feature psychiatrist, Dr. Leslie Tomek, and psychiatry resident Dr. Brielle Marks. The seminar will discuss how to recognize the symptoms of clinical depression and anxiety and treatment options.
Dr. Leslie Tomek, said, “Depression and anxiety can get to a point where they can affect your ability to function in your everyday life. Understanding and recognizing the symptoms is the first step in getting help for yourself or for a loved one.”
