The pelvic floor is comprised of a group of muscles that work together to allow optimal bladder, bowel, and sexual function. When these muscles do not coordinate properly or are weakened, dysfunction may occur. At least 1 in 4 American women report significant discomfort and a negative effect on their quality of life as a result of pelvic floor disorder. These issues are often things that women consider “just part of aging” or “something you just have to learn to live with.” Our mission as Coliseum Center for Pelvic Health is to help women regain control and quality of life by addressing these issues and offering a diverse variety of treatment strategies, both surgical and non-surgical. Our dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and physical therapists are committed to restoring the quality of life for people with pelvic health disorders that can disrupt a healthy and active lifestyle.
