Dr. Thornsberry attended Davidson College for undergraduate and earned his medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia. He then received his training in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Kentucky. Dr. Thornsberry spent a year at the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in Lexington, KY. Following his training he spent a year at the Hughston Orthopaedic Clinic completing a fellowship in sports medicine. In the past, he has acted as team physician at the University of Kentucky, Kentucky State University and Valdosta State University. Dr. Thornsberry is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Thornsberry is married and has two daughters.Gender
