Dr. Robert Blackwell, MD
Dr. Blackwell attended Clemson University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Bioengineering. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Blackwell completed his general surgery and orthopaedic surgery residencies at the University of Tennessee in Erlanger Medical Center. He finished his training with a fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Blackwell is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand.
