Costs

The cost of having a LAP-BAND® procedure done can vary greatly based on your insurance and your ability to document your weight loss attempts. Don’t worry though, our hospital staff can help answer all your questions and walk you through the insurance process. Contact Coliseum Northside Hospital at (478) 757-8200 and a member of our staff will collect your information. Our insurance specialist will then verify your benefits. This process normally takes up to 3 business days.

If you have already checked into your insurance and know that coverage is going to be an out-of-pocket expense to you directly, our staff will also discuss your payment options and the estimated costs of your procedure at our next FREE, no obligation informational seminar. How do I find out if my insurance covers weight loss surgery? To find out if weight loss surgery is a covered benefit under your insurance, you can: Contact your insurance provider. For LAP-BAND®, use procedure code 43770.
